About Us
The Stickney Plant is capable of sustainably converting various crude tars-wasteproducts of steel production and petroleum refining into materials that improve our community and modern life: pitch, refined tars, chemical oils, creosote and others. The plant and process equipment have been engineered to maximize energy conservation with waste heat being used throughout the plant for steam production and process heat.
