Koppers Partners with University of Michigan on Innovative Solutions

Koppers Corporate Innovation team recently visited the University of Michigan’s engineering school to take part in their Multi-Disciplinary Design Program (MDP) project fair. 💡
In 2024, Koppers will be sponsoring an MDP project at the University that will look at utilizing drones and machine vision to automate counting ties at our Railroad Products & Services plants, with Galesburg, IL, serving as the pilot test site for the project! 🛤️
The MDP project fair was open to all students and gave sponsors like Koppers the opportunity to showcase their projects, answer questions, and meet students who might be interested in working on upcoming projects. 🤝
